Chapter History
The Winston-Salem Alumnae Club of Zeta Tau Alpha was organized in the spring of 1956.
7 college chapters were represented and the Officers in 1955-1956 were:
President: Mrs. Quentin T Brown (Louise Wood - Omicron)
Vice-President: Mrs. Arthur J McGrane (Rosalie Williams - Phi)
Secretary: Mrs. Bernice Ross (Bernice Ulrich - Phi)
Treasurer: Mrs. William Pedretty (Catherine Partain - Zeta)
The group planned for 9 meetings from Sept to June.
Zeta Day was in Durham on May 7. Three sisters went to represent the club.

Treasurer: Marie Wallace
In 1970 the group applied for a Charter. The group name was to be the Winston-Salem, North Carolina Alumnae Chapter and on March 5, 1970 the group was cleared for chartering with 14 members. Miss Kathleen E. McHugh was the President. The offical charter date is April 18, 1970.

April 3, 1971 Zeta Day was in Winston Salem at the Sheraton.
